About What I Do

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every detail. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence.

Appearing in this Blog; works in progress along with pictures, upcoming events, as well as oops, things beyond my control and the inconsistencies of selenite, soapstone and alabaster. I'll share pictures of the processes involved in creating the Blades of Light.

Here's an assortment of projects that I'm working on right now. The top piece is alabaster and will be the wolf head grip for the blade below it. The apricot-colored pieces are sunset selenite from Australia. They will become pendulums. The bottom piece will get a snake-headed grip to go with the snaky looking blade. (I just realized how much like a snake the blade looks, seeing it from this angle.)

THE CREATION OF A BLADE OF LIGHT

 November 2, 2025

In the creation of a sword, knife or dagger, the blade always comes first. A piece of selenite is selected and through one-on-one connection with that piece, a vision idea comes to mind. It’s as if the shape is prescribed and already set into the stone. While this may sound strange and difficult to accept, why wouldn’t this be possible? Just because a rock is inanimate, it doesn’t mean it isn’t alive. The atoms that make up its structure are alive and busy keeping the structure in place. Since most rocks were created millions of years ago, that’s a lot of energy over time.

It's more successful to work with a particular stone and mold it into a form that feels right for it. Trying to force a shape onto a stone usually results in frustration, rejection of the piece and tossing it into the ‘junk’ box. To spend time working on a piece of selenite with intention, cooperation and love of this kind of work brings forth the most beautiful creations. The completion of a blade sets the stage for the grip to be formed.

Some pieces of selenite, usually the shorter ones, have handles formed from the piece itself. The blade and grip are one. Longer pieces of selenite work well with a separate grip of soapstone or alabaster. As work on the blade progresses, ideas for the shape of the grip begin to form. By the time the blade is finished, the stone for the grip will have been selected. Sometimes a chunk for the grip must be sawed from a larger rock. This usually involves using a tile saw as well as a hand saw.

When the grip is finished, the blade is attached to the grip. This requires careful carving of a hole in the grip for the end of the blade to fit into. Special glue is used to bind the two pieces together. When the glue is dry, polish is applied and rubbed to a high sheen. The sword, knife or dagger is now complete and ready for spiritual energy work.

As I continue to continue to go within and deepen my past life connections to Lemuria, I am remembering more and more about my life as a temple priestess who made crystal energy tools for ritual work. I know that this past life brings inspiration for the shapes of the knives, daggers and swords that I am currently crafting.

Each piece of selenite carries an idea of what it is to become. I spend time just sitting and holding each piece before I begin to work on it; to bring forth the image I received through aligning with it. I ‘see’ the finished shape in my mind and carve away everything that is not part of that shape.

The 244Mhz energy of the Crystalline Phoenix selenite brings a layer of energetic protection to the custodian of the energy tool. It’s difficult to work because of its fragile crystalline structure, but so worth it. My own personal experience, along with that of others who use large pieces of this selenite in their healing centers all over the world, has shown it to be of superior energy for the intended uses of it. It not only carries its own personal energy but also expands the energy of the person using the tool.

The energy of ancient Lemuria is returning in this current time of chaos on our planet. It’s as if the peaceful lifestyle the Lemurians enjoyed is here to counteract the lower vibrational energy forces trying to keep control of humans. Na’lema Orin, means ‘I return to Light’. Our Blades of Light bring crystalline light energy.

Today I was working on a piece of soapstone to make a grip. I wanted a 2"x2"x6" piece and trimmed off parts of the block with my tile saw. The 7" blade on the saw only has a cutting depth of about 2.5". I made my cuts and then needed to hand saw the rest of the way through the rock.

The picture shows one of three cuts I needed to finish. This is where a lot of time occurs in creating a grip. A larger rock saw with a suitable cutting blade is very expensive. Even though soapstone is fairly soft, it takes time to cut through it. Since I can saw with either hand, it becomes a workout for my arm muscles.

Box Kitty

My cat has discovered my stash of selenite in a plastic container under the bed. He's been sleeping there in the mornings after his breakfast. He's found the best vibes to sleep on. Smart kitty. I wonder what his dreams are like.
