Onna-bugeisha Samurai Sword

$265.00

This Moroccan selenite blade radiated a profound sense of feminine energy throughout its creation, guiding me to dedicate it as a tool for channeling Divine Feminine power. The inspiration for this piece reaches back through history to the Onna-bugeisha—female Samurai warriors of Japan. These remarkable women, whose name translates to “women martial artists” or “female warriors,” played significant roles from the Heian period (794–1185) through the Edo period (1603–1868), embodying courage, discipline, and spiritual strength.

The grip of the sword is crafted from California soapstone, chosen for its natural beauty and unique character. Some areas of the stone are softer and display a deeper hue, which I intentionally preserved to enhance the sword’s sense of history and age. At the end of the grip, an agate cabochon is set into the stone, adding both visual interest and energetic resonance. The gentle curve of the grip draws inspiration from the elegant arches of traditional Japanese bridges, symbolizing the connection between worlds and the flow of energy.

This sword is designed as a spiritual energy tool, not a weapon. For those who identify as male, it serves to harmonize and balance the divine masculine with the divine feminine within, fostering wholeness and inner peace. For those who identify as female, the sword awakens the inner warrioress, offering support in cultivating courage, strength, and protection. It is a reminder that true power is rooted in balance, and that both masculine and feminine energies are essential for personal growth and transformation.

Measuring 21 ¾ inches (55.24 cm) in length, this piece is both substantial and graceful. Every aspect of its creation was guided by intuition and respect for the materials, resulting in a one-of-a-kind spiritual artifact. Whether used in meditation, ritual, or as a symbol of empowerment, this selenite sword invites its keeper to embrace the full spectrum of their being and to honor the sacred dance of energies within.
